How To Boost Your Home or Office WiFi Signal For $1

Steps

Download Template (Click the picture and then click again for the largest size…larger maximizes the signal)
Open in MS Paint, PhotoShop, Paint.net etc and resize as desired. Ensure that you keep the square on the diagram square so when you are expanding keep the aspect ratio the same.
Print image on business card stock or acetate (document protector).
Cut it out and open the six slots with sissors or an X-Acto knife.
Glue tin foil to the back side of the reflector surface
Assemble by placing the six tabs in the six slots.
Place on router. If you have more than one antenna try moving the boosters in different directions to maximize signal.

Note: If printed at the download size you will see about 9 dBi of gain. If you double the size of the image before you print it you will see about 12 dBi of gain. If you place two reflectors on an AP with two antennas you will see an additional increase in performance.
